I’ll be honest, the Deadpool Sequel is a lot more of the same shit on a different day. It doesn’t have the impact or the SHOCK and AWE that the first one had, with its silly, fourth-wall weirdness, brutal violence and sexual vulgarities. We’ve all been acclimated to that now. But it still delivers and basically gives us, the audience, everything you expect from another installment of Deadpool. From the opening credits to the post credit scenes, be prepared to carry that shit-eating grin from beginning to end!

Josh Brolin is on his way to a BANNER YEAR, coming off the record-breaking blockbuster, Avengers: Infinity War. Deadpool 2 will no doubt blow away expectations, judging by the sparse seating in the theater and all the positive buzz. And, in a little over a month, he’ll be at it again in Sicario: Sicario: Day of the Soldado.

He SMOKED IT as CABLE in the film, and was probably my favorite NEW character in the film. I could easily watch a solo film with just him.

Zazie Beetz has always been a favorite of mine from the hit television series ATLANTA, and she also killed it as Domino. She just seemed natural in the role, had great humor and will definitely make for a great team member, should they move forward with an X-FORCE team film down the road.

Nothing really can be said of Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson (A.K.A. Deadpool). Like Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, or Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, Reynolds is a perfect fit for this role. If you liked him as Ddeapool in the first film, you’ll love him just the same in Deadpool 2.

The rest of the characters AND CAMEOS were all great. Humor was great. It seemed to be a bit more brutal than the first, with regards to the violence, but nothing you haven’t already seen before.

Basically, if you liked the first one, you’ll love this one as well.

Oh, and do remember to stay during the credits. The post credit scene is one of the best parts of the film!
