What a way to kick off a new week and on Monday no doubt, with an ALL NEW Black Panther movie trailer. We get a little more of some of the epic scenery and action that we got in the first trailer and a bunch more. Most notable to me, however is the notion that the Black Panther movie soundtrack may be off the chain good! It’s just an astute observation, but based on the level of music we’re getting from the trailers, I’m thinking we may be in for some good stuff when the movie releases.
Black Panther Movie Soundtrack
So far we don’t have much, but you can bet your ass we’ll have more information on the upcoming Black Panther movie soundtrack when it releases.
The video/track below is by RUN THE JEWELS which was featured in the first Black Panther Movie Trailer released. Hopefully there will be more from this duo in the film in 2018.
Black Panther Movie Trailer #2
Below the ALL NEW, just released SECOND, and most likely final Black Panther movie trailer before the film is released at the beginning of 2018.
I think you will agree but it looks like we’ll get a pretty firm grasp of the land of Wakanda, home of the Black Panther. We’ll also most likely get a healthy dose of the politics and the internal struggle from within Wakanda as well, as T’Challa returns home to take his rightful place on the throne. And by the looks of the trailer, it looks like not everyone is happy with his Highness!
My only concern is that we don’t get lost in the country’s internal politics and lose sight of Black Panther’s equally important role, outside the country as part of the hero community.
I know from the comics (which sadly I ended up dropping), that the story would – more often than not – get muddled in the politics of Wakanda, which IMHO made the comic difficult to read month after month. I don’t think this same approach would work well in the movies and would bore audiences, eager to see Black Panther suit up. We’ll see…. but in the meantime, this latest trailer serves its purpose to WOW and AMAZE and at the same time encourages us that the Black Panther Movie Soundtrack may be all that and bag of potato chips!
